Industry Liaison Officer – Australian Trade College North Brisbane

Location: Scarborough, QLD Engagement Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 + Super + Company Vehicle Included

Randstad is partnering with the a Trade College in North Brisbane to find a enthusiastic Industry Liaison Officer for this rewarding, "feet on the ground" role. Bridging the gap between education and the trades, you will spend up to 20 hours a week on the road visiting worksites and mentoring students as they transition into successful careers. This fun and dynamic position offers the perfect blend of variety and impact, complete with a competitive salary and company vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

• Use your relationship management skills to forge and nurture partnerships with new and existing employers to create placement opportunities.
• Provide personalised coaching sessions to students, helping them unpack placement feedback and set long-term career goals.
• Coordinate seamless work experience placements, ensuring all risk assessments, legal agreements, and site visits are completed
• Act as the key liaison for School-Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships (SATs), ensuring all stakeholders—parents, students, and employers—are aligned.
• Effectively communicate with host employers on-site, ensuring our students are meeting industry standards.

What You Bring to the Team

• You have a "strong attention to detail" and the ability to work calmly in high-pressure situations.
• You are comfortable on worksites and can build rapport with small and large trade businesses.
• Accreditation: You hold a Certificate IV in Career Development (or are willing to obtain one).
• Essential Checks: Must have a valid Driver’s Licence, National Police Check, and Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
